The Columbus Apartment Association (CAA) will present the inaugural “for rent” Central Ohio tour of communities – Apartments Alive, June 12-21.
CAA President Brett Kaufman says Apartments Alive will give the public a chance to visit a variety of communities, apartment styles and amenities.
“Today’s renter crosses all demographics,” Kaufman says. “We see many young professionals moving to Columbus to launch their careers as well as empty nesters looking to downsize; both groups seeking apartment communities that offer a sense of community, maintenance-free living and amenities including fitness centers, movie theaters, swimming pools and other fun and places to gather. The 87 communities on tour showcase something for everyone – including three communities downtown.”
Columbus was recently named by Business Week the No. 2 most affordable city in the country based on apartment rent prices and median income. Apartment community prices on tour will range from $400-$500 per month to luxury apartments in the $2,000-$2,500 a month range.
The list of apartment communities on the tour are represented by many of Central Ohio's finest developers and management companies including Edwards Communities, Crawford Communities, CASTO, Lifestyle Communities, Wallace F. Ackley Co., Oakwood Management Company, T&R Company, Schottenstein Real Estate Group and several others. They're separated by location, including downtown, northeast, northwest, southeast and southwest.
Information, locations, photos, virtual tours and directions for Apartments Alive can be found on www.ApartmentsAlive.com. Hours vary by location. The tour is free.
