For a Better Home and Garden...

Spring is almost here, and that means no more excuses for being lazy around the house. Add fresh new ideas to your spring cleaning slate with help from the Central Ohio Home & Garden Show, Feb. 24 through March 4 at the Ohio Expo Center, 717 E. 17th Ave.

 

The show, presented by National City, features more than 400 exhibitors and attractions, and introduces the latest styles and trendiest and most luxurious new products and services available for homes and gardens.

 

Sneak a peek at the hottest gardening trends through the 2007 Garden Showcase, presented by the Columbus Landscape Association. This year's theme is gardens from around the world.

 

The Garden Stage features lawn, garden and landscape seminars, workshops and appearances by special guests, which this year includes Paul Dimeo of Extreme Makeover: Home Edition. The carpenter will discuss what it's like to work on the popular show during his appearances March 3 at noon and 2:30 pm.

 

There are many other dimensions to the event, including the Home Depot Home Improvement Stage, the Gourmet Galaxy Cafe, Kids Day and Senior Day.
