The Rotary Club of Westerville Sunrise is currently selling flags to be displayed during its Field of Heroes event and fundraiser, happening May 23-25.

The field, which will feature at least 1,500 8-foot flags, will be located at the Westerville Sports Complex, across from the Westerville Community Center. The flags will serve as a temporary memorial to honor personal heroes, from family members to Armed Forces members to first responders.

Flags cost $30 each and will be displayed in the field. Individuals who purchase a flag may claim it after the event to take home. Each flag will bear a personalized placard, which will identify the memorialized individuals during the display.
