One of the hottest events in Central Ohio, Festival Latino, returns to Downtown Columbus on Friday, June 15 and Saturday, June 16, from 11 a.m. to 10 p.m.
The largest Hispanic/Latino event in Ohio takes place in Bicentennial Park and Genoa Park along Columbus’ downtown riverfront. Admission to the event is free.
Listen to the explosive and energetic sounds of merengue, salsa, cumbia, forró and conjunto music from multiple performance areas. Watch traditional Latin American dance or take part in social dancing at the West Bank Plaza.
Festival Latino would not be complete without authentic Latin American cuisine from local and regional vendors. Visitors can shop the Marketplace for arts and crafts, and kids can explore hands-on activities in the Chase Children’s Area and McDonald’s Family Fun Time.
The Ohio Arts Council helped fund Festival Latino with state tax dollars to encourage economic growth, educational excellence and cultural enrichment for all Ohioans.
Festival Latino is produced by Music in the Air and the Office of Special Events, programs of the Columbus Recreation and Parks Department.
