Dublin Irish Festival sets attendance record

 

More than 100,000 people attended this year's Dublin Irish Festival for the first time in the event's history, according to information released by the City of Dublin.

 

The festival, which began July 31 and ended Aug. 2, officially saw 102,400 visitors come through its gates at Coffman Park. This is the biggest crowd the festival has experienced since its inception in 1988. Last year, the number of festival visitors was approximately 92,000.
