DIFFA: Design Industries Foundation Fighting AIDS will bring its annual Dining By Design tour to Columbus with events at the CCAD Design Studios (formerly the Byer’s Showroom) on Friday, May 11 and Saturday, May 12.
DIFFA’S Dining By Design, presented by ELLE DECOR and GE MONOGRAM, will bring together some of the most talented and celebrated individuals in the worlds of fashion, interior design, art, and architecture to create spectacular, over-the-top dining environments. The honorary co-chairs for this year’s Columbus event are Thomas Havens and Jeffery Chaddock.
The multi-city tour, which in past years has raised more than $12 million for DIFFA, will feature awe-inspiring dining installations by design luminaries such as David Rockwell/Rockwell Group for GE Monogram, Margaret Russell for ELLE DECOR, Marc Blackwell for Rosemount Estate, and Columbus designers including Joe Baer of Zen Genius for Limited Brands, Abercrombie & Fitch, Suzi West of Collier West for NBC, Fitch for Fitch and Rick Miller and Jeffery Marion of Miller Van Order Interior Design for Co-Chairs Jeffery Chaddock and Thomas Havens.
Each designer/sponsor will receive a dining space within which the creative possibilities are endless. The tables are open for the public to view on Friday evening during the “Crush” Preview Cocktail Party where guests will have the opportunity to view the magnificent table creations while tasting Rosemount Estate wines and Bombay Sapphire cocktails.
Guests at the gala dinner on Saturday, May 12 will dine at the tables, making the event a truly unique experience for all who attend.

Designers and guests mingle, preview table creations, sip Rosemount Estate wines paired with delectable treats, taste superb libations including cocktails by Bombay Sapphire and enjoy lively entertainment by the event’s producer, Gary Bias of EventCo Productions.
