Joye Tilton’s A Symphony of Beauty will be exhibited during a special, one day show at David Myers Art Studio & Galleries, 7 W. Main St., from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Oct. 18. 

More than 15 paintings and drawings by Joye Tilton will be featured in this, her first show. A resident of Westerville, Tilton is a retired school teacher. She lived in Illinois and Florida prior to her move to Westerville, and began drawing and painting with David Myers in 2005 at the age of 81.

Tilton's art reflects her passion for beauty in the world and her work expresses the importance of appreciating nature and poetry.
