A familiar family and its prairie home takes center stage during Curtain Player's production of A Little House Christmas, which opened its three-week run Nov. 27 at the 5691 Harlem Rd. (Galena) theater.
A Little House Christmas is based on the Little House book series by Laura Ingalls Wilder. It invites audiences into the home of the Ingalls family for Christmas Eve as Ma, Pa, Laura and Mary plan a holiday dinner and square dance for friends and neighbors.
During the production's run, Curtain Players has also created a partnership with the Westerville Area Resource Ministry (WARM) for a holiday food drive. Those who attend the show's performances are asked to bring five non-perishable food items and household goods or a bag of groceries for donation (cash donations will also be accepted). Collected goods will be delivered to WARM for distribution in its food pantry.
A Little House Christmas will run Nov. 27-28, Dec. 4-6 and Dec. 11-13. Tickets are $14 for adults and $12 for seniors and students. For show times and other information, call 614-360-1000 or visit www.curtainplayers.com.
