The Ladies of the Market at North Market are sponsoring their 2nd annual Cookie Exchange from 5:30-7:30 p.m. Dec. 3 at the North Market, 59 Spruce St.

For a $50 donation, every participant can enjoy food, drinks and entertainment, go home with a selection of three dozen cookies handmade by the Ladies of the North Market, and will also get some recipes.

One-hundred percent of the proceeds from this event go toward the Mid-Ohio Foodbank.

Last year's event raised $2,500 for the Mid-Ohio Foodbank.

For every dollar donated to the Mid-Ohio Foodbank, the organization is able to distribute $8 worth of groceries to people in need.
