Merion Village 2007 Garden Tour set

Explore the unique and lovely gardens of Merion Village at your own pace with a self-guided afternoon tour July 8 from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. The tour will be held rain or shine.

 

The delightful collection of gardens range from larger, more expansive gardens to smaller and more private settings. Many varieties of perennials and annuals will be featured.

 

The Merion Village Information Center will be open the day of the tour, from 9:30 to 3 p.m., for tour brochures and refreshments.

Woodland Park Neighborhood Association Hosting Secret Gardens Tour

The second annual Secret Gardens of Woodland Park Tour will be held June 24 from 1-6 p.m.

 

Gardens on tour include 1738-1750 East Broad; 1610 Hawthorn Park; 1724 Clifton Ave.; 1622 Richmond Av.e; and 1655 Granville St.

 

The tour is free and will feature a unique collection of hidden urban gardens, including a walled, Spanish-inspired, multilevel courtytard; a condominium common area courtyard with a spectacular view of Franklin Park Conservatory; and a cactus garden.
