Capital University has released its 2008-09 early music concert schedule.
Tickets are $25, $20 for seniors, and $10 for students and may be purchased at the door or in advance by calling 614-861-4569. Tickets are also available through CAPA (614-469-0939) and Ticketmaster (614-431-3600).
The schedule includes:
Oct. 10 - La Gente d'Orfeo, Passion and Repose: A 17th Century Musical Extravaganza, Mees Hall, Capital University, 8 p.m. concert; 7:30 p.m. preconcert lecture.
Nov. 21 - The Rose Ensemble, Celebremos el Niño: A Mexican Baroque Christmas, Pontifical College Josephinum, 8 p.m. concert; 7:30 p.m. preconcert lecture.
Jan. 9, 10, 11, 2009 - The Early Interval, A Mediterranean Twelfth Night Celebration, Pontifical College Josephinum, Friday & Saturday, 8 p.m. concert, 7:30 p.m. preconcert lecture; Sunday, 2:30 p.m. concert, 2 p.m. preconcert lecture.
Feb. 20, 2009 - Venere Lute Quartet, Aery Entertainments, Mees Hall, Capital University, 8 p.m. concert; 7:30 p.m. preconcert lecture.
March 22, 2009 - Ensemble Lucidarium, Music and Poetry of the Jews in Renaissance Italy, Mees Hall, Capital University, 2:30 p.m. concert; 2 p.m. preconcert lecture.
April 24, 2009 - The Early Interval, If All the World were Paper: Entertainments at the English Court, First Congregational Church, 444 E. Broad St., 8 p.m. concert; 7:30 p.m. preconcert lecture.
