Jeni’s Splendid Ice Creams will open its fifth Central Ohio location in Dublin in March. The store will be located at 1 W. Bridge St.
Jasons Restaurant and Bar on Bridge Street is changing its name to
J.Liu’s. Owner Jason Jiu made the change because of
Jason’s Deli, a Texas-based chain that will open its first Ohio deli, also located on Bridge Street, in March. The name change will also affect Liu’s restaurant in Worthington.
Alabama-based
Liberty National Insurance Co. opened an office in Dublin in January. Liberty National offers individual life insurance and supplemental health insurance. The 108-year-old company hired approximately 100 people for its Dublin office, which is its first Midwest office.
IGS Energy is currently building its new corporate headquarters at 6100 Emerald Pkwy. IGS is a natural gas supplier and the country’s largest independent supplier.
Battelle will expand its Blazer Parkway facility, adding 40,000 square feet and additional jobs. The move is part a large-scale initiative by Battelle to in $200 million within Central Ohio communities, including Columbus and West Jefferson.
