Dance with the BalletMet Dancers

The BalletMet Columbus’ Dance with the Dancers Bootleg Bash is Feb. 28 from 7-11 p.m. at the DSW Home Office, 810 DSW Dr. In addition to food, drinks and dancing, the event, sponsored by Hamilton Capital Management and DSW, features both silent and live auctions.


Celebrating BalletMet’s 31st season and the world premiere of The Great Gatsby, the swanky soiree includes food stations by Central Ohio’s top restaurateurs, open bar with specialty drinks, a performance by the BalletMet Company dancers and music with DJ Mark Dantzer.

 

Auction items include vacation packages to Vail, Las Vegas and Cancun; a shopping spree at Easton Town Center; a Ballerina Birthday Party; golf ticket packages and more.

 

Guests can place their bids online now at www.balletmet.org as well as at the party.  Nouveau Speakeasy cocktail attire is encouraged.


F. Scott Fitzgerald’s classic American novel of extravagance and deception during the height of Prohibition comes to life in the world premiere The Great Gatsby, choreographed by BalletMet dancer and Princess Grace Award winner Jimmy Orrante. The opulent production runs April 24 through May 3 at the Capitol Theatre.
