In its 20th year, the Building Industry Association (BIA) hosted the annual MAME Awards on May 11, honoring Marketing and Merchandising Excellence within the new home industry.
Builders, realtors, suppliers, interior designers, architects and landscapers all gathered at the Bridgewater Banquet and Conference Center to celebrate the past year’s achievements and to mark the 20th anniversary.
The MAME Awards were created by the BIA’s Sales and Marketing Council to honor the top achievers in the new home industry. Sales award winners include both realtors and builder sales representatives who have each closed a minimum of $1 million in new home sales for the previous year.
The “Grand Marketing Award for a Builder Member” went to Duffy Homes; the “Grand Marketing Award for an Associate Member” went to both Décor Blvd. And Sevell & Sevell, Inc.; and the “Grand Marketing Award for a Realtor Member” went to the Raines Group/Real Living HER. Bethany Warner of American Heritage Homes was awarded “Marketing Director of the Year- Builder Member.”
“Sales Manager of the Year” awards were presented to William Woodard of Maronda Homes and Joyce Logan of the Greater Columbus New Home Guide. Leadership Awards were given to Pamela Cinelli-Buroff of C.V. Perry Builders; Emilie Hebert of M/I Homes; and Steven Nixon of Maronda Homes.
