Ringling Bros. brings new production to Nationwide
Ringling Bros. and Barnum & Bailey has always done things a little over the top, but its new circus spectacular is set to take things even further.
The new Ringling Bros. production Over the Top is coming to Nationwide Arena from May 14-17. Enter to win tickets at www.cityscenecolumbus.com.
The show features Ringmaster Chuck Wagner and clown eccentric Tom Dougherty struggling for complete control of a magical top hat that brings to life their fantastical imaginations. The spectacle includes flying dogs, skipping Asian elephants and one man's eye-to-eye encounter with a pack of Bengal tigers.
The 138th edition of "The Greatest Show on Earth" also features the renowned Cossacks' equestrian stunts, the Flying Caceres and their double-decker trapeze, motorcycle madness atop the highwire and seven speeding riders in the "Globe of Steel."
Ninety minutes before the show, families have the opportunity to see the Ringling Bros. Animal Open House. One hour before showtime, they can join Ringling Bros. athletic performers in getting "CircusFit" and learning circus skills at the free All Access Pre-show.
Tickets are $10, $15, $20, $37 (VIP), $47 (Front Row) and $65 (Circus Celebrity). All seats are reserved, and tickets are available at www.ringling.com, at Nationwide Arena, www.nationwidearena.com, and at Ticketmaster locations, www.ticketmaster.com or 1-800-745-3000.
