Movie Review
A Brainless, Fun, Action Movie
Hitman is far from boring

By Chris Alexis

If you’ve seen the trailer for Hitman, then it’s exactly like the ad suggests – a brainless, fun action movie that never bores.

Even if you’re unfamiliar with the video game in which the movie is based off, it doesn’t matter. If you’re an action fan, this movie is right up your alley.

Hitman tells the story of one of the assassins (Timothy Olyphant), bred from birth to be a trainer killer by an organization known only as “The Organization.” He is known as “Agent 47.” He is set up by the Russian President for knowing too much, and now he’s out for revenge.

Yeah, I know, this describes the plot essentially of about five million other movies.

And along the way, a beautiful but troubled girl gets involved. At first they’re at odds, but… heard this one too? I figured.

Like I said, don’t see this movie for the plot. See it for the gun fights and the explosions.

The one thing I did find funny about this movie is that these killers are the most conspicuous hit men. They all have shaved heads with barcodes on the back of their head. They don’t exactly blend in, which is hysterical for such a profession that demands people to weave in and out of situations unnoticed.

Other than that, there’s not a lot to say about this movie because there isn’t much to this movie.

Expect nothing more and you’ll be a satisfied customer.
