For the first time, the Dublin Women’s Philanthropic Club will host the annual Snowflake Gala.
The fundraising event, formerly known as the Emerald Ball and hosted by the Dublin Foundation, is set for Feb. 28. The gala starts at 6:30 p.m. and will last until midnight.
This year, the event will be held at The Country Club at Muirfield Village, 8715 Muirfield Dr., in Dublin.
David Williamson, an internationally known sleight-of-hand comic, will headline the event. The experienced comic has previously led the stage at events hosted by many Fortune 500 companies. After Williamson’s act, a DJ will take the stage to host the dance.
The gala raises funds to benefit the educational and charitable causes the DWC supports. Committed to helping needy women, children, and families, the club’s dedication is evident in its history. Last year the club distributed more than $17,000 to charitable causes throughout the community.
Tickets are on sale now at www.dublinwomensclub.com/snowflakegala for $125. The ticket includes the appetizers, dinner and entertainment. If purchased in groups of four, guests will receive reserved seating and four beverage coupons.
